Welcome
Grouphotel and Education Center Elegant is located in the middle of the Hochsolling-Vogler national park on a hight of 400 meters in the small town of Neuhaus Im Solling, part of the city of Holzminden. As hotel we focus ourselves on serving larger groups but individuals are also more than welcome.
Our hotel has 26 bedrooms, a large indoor heated swimmingpool and a restaurant with panoramic terras.
Holzminden is an ideal starting point for bicycle or water tours in the attractive Oberweser valley. It is situated at the foot of the Hochsolling mountains and therefore is a perfect starting point for travellers and mountain bikers. Those who would like to keep in shape and healthy or just want to have fun will find best possible conditions. Travellers can experience the nature very closely! On short routes, on day tours or on extensive walks through forests, a net of more than 200 km of signposted hiking trails will guide you safely on your way. Signposted courses for mountain bikers as well as the numerous guided tours and the annual mountain bike cup will make your heart beat faster.
Interesting places to visit within 1 hour driving are Hameln, Bad Pyrmont, Kassel, Hannover, Gottingen and Paderborn (from here there are direct flights to London Stansted). Within three hours you are in Frankfurt or Berlin. In all enough to see and do and still nice and quite so you can relax.

Directions to Hotel Elegant
If you are driving by car you should drive toward Kassel and then take the exit "Warburg". From there it is almost 70km to our hotel.
